Australian Immigration Investment Program for Entrepreneurs on the Visa 188A

Allow investors to own and manage business investments in Australia in many ways. Investors and lawful family members including: Spouses and children under 23 years of age who are still single (dependent) will be granted a temporary visa (Visa 188 - Provisional visa) with a period of 4 years and 3 months, which can be extended for 2 years thereafter depending on the type of investment, or continue to apply for a permanent resident visa (Visa 888 - Permanent Residence).

CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS:

Under 55 years old, a minimum of 65 points according to the immigration scale system.

Within 2 years of the last 4 financial years before receiving the invitation to apply for a visa, have a stake in a company, with a minimum total turnover of 500,000 AUD/year.

Owning shares:

51% if turnover < 400,000 AUD/year.

30% if turnover > 400,000 AUD/year.

10% if the company has been publicly listed.

Applicant and spouse must have total assets of at least AUD 800,000.

CONDITIONS TO BECOME A PERMANENT RESIDENT: (Subclass 888)

Living Australia and holding a 188A visa for a minimum of 1 year over the last 2 years before applying for a permanent visa.

Annual turnover of at least AUD 300,000 in the 12 months prior to the date of application.

Contributing business capital, directly managing 1 or 2 companies in Australia for 2 years from the date of applying for permanent residence and holding a minimum share:

51% if turnover < 400,000 AUD/year.

30% if turnover > 400,000 AUD/year.

10% if the company has been publicly listed, on the stock exchange.

The applicant or/and spouse must meet at least 2 of the following conditions:

Total business net assets in Australia reached at least 200,000 AUD during the last 1 year before the application date.

Total personal and business assets in Australia reached a minimum of AUD 600,000 during the last 1 year before the date of application.

At least 2 local full-time employees are employed at Australian businesses during the last 1 year before the date of application.
